American Voices Book Discussion Series
Join us at the Reading Public Library for a unique book discussion series. American Voices will feature lively discussions of books relating to the theme of what defines us as Americans.
Join us on Tuesday, March 30, at 6:30 for some great food, good company, and a lively discussion of Yiyun Li’s A Thousand Years of Good Prayers. This will be last discussion in the American Voices series this year!
Please let us know if you’re coming so we can save you a seat! If you’re planning to attend the dinner at 6:30, please fill in the attached form and drop it off with your check or cash at the library. If you plan to attend the discussion only, please sign up online or by phone or in person – we’ll try to save you a fortune cookie!
Copies of the book – and movie - are available at the library now – you’ll definitely want to read the stories before the discussion.
Sure hope you can make it!
Discussions will be led by Ann Murphy, Ph.D., Chairman of the English Department at Assumption College-awarded the Distinguished Teaching Award by UMass Amherst.
Tuesday Evenings at 7:00. For more information or to register for one book or the series call the library at 781-944-0840 or register online via the library calendar.
