E-Books at the library!
Since November of 2008 Reading residents have downloaded close to 900 free audiobooks. We are now excited to announce a new downloadable service – e-books! An e-book is a printed book, text and illustrations, available in digital form. Focusing on recent books and bestsellers, the new collection contains over 200 e-books for adults, teens and children, fiction and nonfiction.
The library’s new e-book collection can be read on Sony Readers and the Nook reader from Barnes & Noble, as well as on PC and Mac computers using Adobe Digital Editions software. E-books are a smaller file and download faster download than audiobooks.
To learn more and access the e-books and audiobooks go to http://overdrive.noblenet.org with your library card at hand. Downloadable e-books are a new service available through the libraries of the North Of Boston Library Exchange (NOBLE).
