·First day to join the Children’s Summer Reading Club!

·Readers and listeners keep track of book time. 

·Book Buddies: Club members entering Grades 4 to 6 may read to a younger child. Both readers and buddies get credit for shared book time by initialing a block on their grid with a B. 

·2nd to 6th Graders may pick up Certainly Wood Writing Contest information and rules.

·Drop off a plain light-colored T-shirt (with name and phone #) for silk-screening by 9 PM Tuesday June 26th. Pick up on or after June 29th.

·First day to pick up free tickets for Alexander the Jester (see 6/26).

Summer Kickoff –Alexander the Jester will perform his amazing show of sight gags and magical stunts that will send your imagination soaring.  His show is mostly in mime, but when he finally talks, it is only in the gibberish language called Grammelot.  You won’t want to miss this show. Pick up a free ticket (starting June 18th) as long as they are available!

Geocaching – Learn about the game/sport that combines GPS (or direction following) and hiking to find a hidden cache.  Go on a quest in Reading's conservation land and locate several "beginner" caches.  You'll find out how to geocache wherever your travels take you this summer!
