WiFi
If you have a laptop with a wireless card (802.11b or 802.11g), we have good news for you! The library offers free and accessible wireless access to Internet. Wi-Fi can be accessed from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day in our parking lot or in the library building during regular library hours.

Printing access will not be available via the wireless connection. Users may save their data on a floppy disk or jump drive and then use one of the library's computers to print. The wireless network is unsecured; therefore, wireless users should not transmit their credit card information, passwords and any other sensitive personal information while using any wireless "hot spot" in the library.

For more information on how to access Wi-Fi at the Reading Public Library, stop by the Information Desk.

Notary Public & Fax Services
All Reference librarians who work the Information Desk are licensed Notary Publics (which means that if we're open, we have a Notary Public at the ready), and can notarize documents for $1.00 per notarization/signature.

Types of documents librarians are unable to notarize include are wills, real estate closings, and specific types of financial documents. Please call in advance to verify that your document can be notarized at the library if you have any doubts.

We also provide fax sending services for $1.00 per page (cover pages, even if provided by us, count as a page). Unfortunately, we cannot receive faxes on your behalf.
