How long does it take to receive a reply?

This service is provided during the Library hours of operation.  We will respond to your question promptly.  Questions received after hours will be answered when service hours resume.

What kind of questions can I ask via texting?

This service is good for quick, simple questions that can be answered with short responses.  More involved questions might better be handled via telephone or email.

What do I need to use this service?

To use this service, you need a mobile device which is enabled to send and receive text messages.

What does the service cost?

The Library does not charge for this service, but charges from your cell phone provider may apply.  These charges vary among plans and telephone providers.

Do I always need to include rplinfo at the beginning of my questions, and when I reply to a message the Library has sent to me do I need to include rplinfo?

No.  You only need to include rplinfo in the first question you send to us.
