Subscribing

When you sign up for e-mail or RSS subscription, you will get the latest updates on our web site delivered to you instantly.

With either RSS or E-mail notification, you will receive every post that has been published on the page to which you subscribed. For example: if you subscribe on the home page, you will receive all news that is published there. If you are interested in Teen events and booklists, you should subscribe to the Teen page of the site. Feel free to subscribe to more than one page!

RSS

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. To receive RSS feed, you need to have a feed reader, such as My Yahoo. Whenever the library web page that you subscribed to is updated, you will see the new information in your feed.

E-mail

Enter your email address and you will get website updates sent to your inbox. You will receive one email per day the the site is updated. So if we don’t put new information on the site, you won’t receive anything. But if we put 5 new things up in one afternoon, you’ll just get one e-mail, not 5. If you subscribe to multiple pages on the site, however, you will receive separate e-mails for each subscription.
