Document Services

The copy, scan, and fax station is located in the book return area next to the Borrower Services desk. The library provides staplers, tape, paper clips, and a work area to help users with their document needs.


A photocopy machine is located in the area to the left of the Borrower Services desk. Copies are .20 each; pay at the Borrower Services desk when done.

Document Scanning

Using the our Scannx machine, users may scan documents and have them sent to email, USB device, Google Drive account, or smartphone.  Document scanning free.  USB devices may be purchased at the Borrower Services desk.


The Scannx machine may also be used to send a fax for a fee of $1.00 per page; pay at the Borrower Services desk.

Looking for Notary Public Service?

As of July 1, 2021 the Town of Reading, including the Reading Public Library, will no longer provide notary services to the public due to changes in the town’s insurance coverage.
